Xpression - Art of living
over this art undoubtedly possesses the potential to rule the world.
The art lies in deluding the listener to believe what you say is true , to what extent you say the truth is immaterialistic. People do not give a second thought before judging a person and publicly scandalizing ones image. Not just this a petty incidence can be metamorphosed into 'a magical thundersome happening experience'
by the right pick of words and some add ons.
Such people yearn for public recognition and constant attention.
Few people possess the gift of being able to distinguish between the facts and fiction that might appear to be deceptively similar from outside. It is amusing but the number of such people have considerably fallen.
Recently two of my best friends had a huge tiff and they wouldnt talk let alone see
each others face and I got the opportunity to hear the story of both sides personally.
In general cases one party wins over the other in the percentage of fault earned ,
this case was certainly unusual. Both of them had their parts absolutely toned up
(which seemed rerehersd to me ) so perfectly flawless that when I heard the first part I was pretty sure I knew who was at fault but as soon as I heard the second version it seemed unbelievably relevant and true too! putting me in dilemma which one to believe and who was at fault. I wondered had I been a third party listening to just one version of the story I would have been strongly prejudiced for my entire life and I would have done great unjustice to myself and my friends.
Language is a powerful tool that can certainly convert the magnitude and intensity
of a subject. It can make a serious thing sound casual or a false alarm sound true.
Expression is a good way of communicating your inner voice with the world but
blatancy can be fatal.
Fewer people are blessed with the art of speech and the will to use it right and those few souls are certainly BLESSED !

DEVELOPED .. r we ??
Have you ever given it a thought how peace giving it might be to pen down a letter to an age old friend ?
I DONT THINK SO :X
coz your phone bills screech out loud that you text more than you talk your chatting session ... huh ! They are even longer .
You have been struck by the information technology virus. This IT virus has entirely taken hold of our lives luring us with fancy gizmos and gadgets, It would be surprising to know that this virus feeds on our happiness, physical fitness and peace of mind. According to a recent survey done it has found that children know how to handle computers before they know how to tie their laces.
Is this development ??
What is the yardstick of measuring development ??
Development is not just confined to computers and increase in technology.. It is not just about efficient and advanced operating systems, softwares and databases.
Development at microscopic level aims at a holistic development that can deliver physical, mental and social stability and peace which IT development miserably fails to deliver.
Gone are the days when children loved collecting stamps and coins.Gone are the days when children loved playing outdoor games instead today these activities have been replaced by counter strike and NFS making kids couch potatoes with a gift of thick spectacles.
IT has encouraged cyberspace crime, hacking, porn blah blah ... the list is endless
Our parents live with a fear in their hearts that their kids might be exposed to such vulgar things.
What is the use of such a development that fails to give our parents a peaceful sleep?
IT has indeed shrunken the world by reducing distances but what is the use of this development that has shrunken the world yet increased the distances amongst hearts ?
If our forefathers were to look down from heaven to earth they would be surprised to see how much we have progressed yet they would pity on us how shallow, crippled and dependant we have become on this technology. They would surely mock at us on running after pseudo happiness leaving behind the real essence of quality happiness in life.

healthy competition
Competition is a measure of your talent. Competition in education can be both encouraging as well as discouraging. It can take the focus off learning and instead put it to winning instead. It also affects the ability of a student to find the sweet joy of learning.
We are all aware of the famous Darwins theory : survival of the fittest
We all compete for survival today , competition in education on the contrary can increase the diffidence levels of an individual .Healthy competition MUST be encouraged but comments like " Haha! I got an A and you just got a D" are surely unwelcome and must be punished.
So we should promote cooperation and healthy competition only.

GOD
Of all the myths/facts/fiction stories that our rich Indian heritage holds inscribed in vedas and granths and historical epics like Ramayan and mahabharata ... are they even true ??
When there are stories about lord Krishna stopping the unstoppable time and asking Arjun to denounce the worldy ties and stories like Hanuman gulping down the blazing sun or Ravana having 10 heads all at once it becomes a little irrational for a science brain or for that matter anybody to believe these forklore ...
By this I do not discard the entire presence of God rather I am a firm believer in a supernatural power existing and controlling the entire course of this universe.
Its just that these tales seem far fetched maybe because with the advent of time they have been told and re-told and every single time that they have been narrated they have been narrated with a twist and twirl

MOTIVATION
I was Demoralised :X
Then I went to my sis and talked it out with her .. Told her about the idea I had in mind and she was all positive and game for it.
She cheered me up and restored my faith in my plan.
MOTIVATION is a very important factor in life .
It drives you in d positive direction filling you up with d right vibes, positivity, vigour and spirit. It happens with almost all of us that at a point in life we feel highly demoralised and negetive about our actions. But then there is always a positive guiding spirit in this universe who helps you believe in yourself be it your siblings, family, best friend, your ideal or your mentor.
Talking your problem out REALLYYYY works and lifts up your spirits. It is very important to talk out to remove d sulk and put your spirits in first gear again.
And finally I did paint my room :)

not so common
the opening nd closing ceremonies wr just MIND BLOWING ! d fireworks were splendid .. d stadiums were stupefying .. d trademarks of INDIA were put on a display .. auspicious rangoli, sanctity of mehndi, d guru shishya paramparaa, d gr8 indian railways, d national classical dances, d bollywood music tadka
Every single performance that was staged was soooo very organised nd managed .. it was a treat to all my senses !
media had unnecesarily hyped up nd declared common wealth games to be a blunder !
Ironically all that d negetive publicity of media cud give was a drill to d governments ass to do something AND drop d numbr of visitors in d stadium ... nd then again blaming d government for such huge stadiums which were renovated only to be left empty !!

FAITH BELIEF AND DESTINY
She is a BYGG fan of horoscopes , believes in color therapy and signs and serendipity stuff. I myself DO believe in signs but in comparison to her I am just a normal kid ..
So recently there poped up a story of the stars(nakshatraas) being in a bad position astrologically nd that too almost all the sun signs being affected due to this bad positioning and I just stuffed it into my garbage stock thinking it to be just another "hit the bricks" type.
But it so turned out that my days or rather my weeks or infact the whole couple of months recently seemed out to be a little disastrous to me !!
and then I remembered her forklore .. So I just went to her to ask about it more and I was told that mid end october was supposed to be the relieving period when all the stars would allign themselves in their normal positions ..
It may sound crappy but I am dying to welcome the next month !!
Fingers crossed !!

JAI HIND
There was a time when India was severely lacking in its development while the rest of the world had paced into the era of scientific evolution and new discoveries .. we cursed our lag on the rulers that enslaved us and hindered our growth and progress. They looted all our wealth and raped the once called golden bird to a miserable poor nation where poverty reflected at every corner of the street.
Today we do have the most developed and advanced computers and machines at our beck nd call but with advent of time man has become slaves to these machines ... we have become slaves to these mind boggling electronic devices in leaps and bounds ...
It has become impossible for man to survive without machines and yet we say we are independent.
Today we are independent to choose for selves the clothes we wear - ethnic or western, the language we speak- our native mothertongue or the more sophisticated english, the religion we choose or the lifestyle we select .... but yet we havent been able to liberate ourselves from the superstitions that still exist in broad daylight !
We are independent yet we are tightly clutched by the nasty grip of social malices like severe show offs in peer class , the so very nose poking habit into others matter (nd falsely calling it 'care' fr otherzzz), the habit of throwing away an empty packet of chips out of the car window and littering the roads, believing in fake religious pranks of dhongi baabaazzz.Flaunting a broad minded perception to everybody while deep down our thinking still remains conservative and narrow. Wearing western clothes just to keep up with d peer group yet making talks about the neighbors daughter when she leaves the society in a tight mini skirt with a guy on a bike and yet we declare ourselves to be liberated ??
literally and legally India has become an independent nation but the people are yet to be liberated from certain practices which fail Indias independence MISERABLY.

MY CELL
to certain non living things as well.. like one of d particular dresses or a pair of shoes that we always feel
comfortable over others..
so my n73 just celebrated its second birthday..and it was in pretty appreciable condition till recently its
back cover just got a lil frictionless..so i had to remove it
and apparently it seemed funny without a back cover and the battered battery sneaking out in a very rugged condition
...so i tried replacing my old n73 with a new phone but sadly i did not like its features
also i cud not get accustomed to the handling of this new cell..the texting seemed like trouble and it wud hav taken
me ages to get accustomed to something less than a n73 keypad
my mom goes berserk if she cannot reach me on my phone and so do my frnzzz...
phones have become an essential commodity.. they help connect between people besides chit chatting texting has become
an evn more essential part today.. they help me check my to dos and notes ..
it assists my grey cell by memorizing ol d birthday reminders
it helps me read a document without having to carry a laptop at all places with me
it helps me rejuvenate with fresh music by playing my fav bands
it helps me click gud moments.. it makes sure i cherish gud memories life long
it serves the purpose of a mirror too as it has a vgi front camera
i can easily complete an e book on my cell
it helps me connect to my frnz on fb
it helps me check my mail
its dictionary comes very handy
it has taken an unimaginable important part
in my life and sustainance without is next to impossible
i dont find one reason to part away from my cell when it is so perfect and serves multi purposes
its perfectly operational .. besides everybody drops down some clothes why not my cell??

ANTI CHILD LABOUR
their innocent eyes watching d scorching flame
their tender legs burned and bruised
their young brains cobwebed with the gross reality of their lives
their enthusiasm absorbed with gloom of the room
their high spirits withered by the dawn of despair
their intellect captivated by the chains of poverty
their dreams bloted by their inevitable destiny
their childhood is entirely destroyed by a catastrophic phenomenon of CHILD LABOUR!!
their future is a complete trash...
their faces calling for sympathy and screaming out a hand of help
is god so cruel ?? or has he just turned around his face towards the fate of these children who are subjected to d inhumane labour
child labour is gross and the most hideous crime a human being can commit by depriving a child from his wonderful young blossoming years..
STOP CHILD LABOUR

interview at STEPHENS
well..well this article is dedicated to my interview at st stephens that was long awaited...:)it was a fine sunday morning and i had to reach by 8:00 in the morning and so i had put an alarm for six but um a lazy ass and by the time i got up it was six thirty...!!!my mom was to accompany me and we left our place reached the college ,went thru the initial verification and left for the interview room...there were a bunch of kids sitting outside ... silent prayers , deep sighs and anxious souls..time seemed to tick off slowly..and without a fan outside the interview hall i sweated profuselyand i dont know what stuck my mind instead of being serious i was set on for a high...!!! but anyways the ring rang and my number came and i stood up and headed for the interview...and as i entered the hall o my!! there was a long pannel of SEVEN teachers sitting right in front of me ..i wished all a good morning and i was empathetically asked to take a seat. Poor me !! under the scrutiny of seven professors rite there to screw u ..and u alone :( The principle began by going thru my hobbies that i had filled up in the form and asked me the recent john grishams novel i had read and to narrate its story...that was a fine take and i started with the story..the novel is a 400 page buk sooo u cant expect me to finish naratting it in two lines....as i was ellaborating the plot the princi cut me short and next the phy prof asked me about force and torque..as i had written in the form about the my learning in kathak dance and so there he was asking me about this ballerene girl who swirls alternatively with her arms wide open and then close..in which situation she has max balance nd in which the least...whether iftorque or force is applied on the girl ...he tried to confuse me whether torque is being applied or not when the girl goes round and round...but i faired out somehow then the comp prof asked me about c++ and oops ...its features and lastly an example of polymorphism and that was the end of my interview!!!
it had always sounded more scary than it turned out to be!!!At last i thanked them and left the room it was fun!!

kids or no kids..???
kids ....the most subtle ,lively , joyous ,humble and honest creatures upon this earth...their bubelling laughter innocent talks and the true love in their caressing smiles makes them soooo amiable.
Recently i was watching this tele program 'lil champs' and it was initially a bit amusing to see two small (mind you really small )kids who were the anchors of the program. they talked and blabbed and fought and argued and cracked jokes and laughed .... the entire stage seemed to be a crucible of emotions flowing in...But as the program unfolded it became obvious that the anchors were no ordinarily talented kids...the anchors had their seperate teams and O gawd!!! those kids talked and taunted and mocked each other like anything that it was their team who was going to win ...they were so sure shot and their overpractised stage lessons gleamed on the silver screen ...making small kids practise for so long hours for reality shows is this human??? nd talking about the main point isss that these days kids are no more kids!!their lives have become so much mechanised!!..
the other day a bunch of my cousin siblings had raided my place n man what a messs!!!they were sooo choosy..my mom got themm mango juice n like good kids had i been offered i would have accepted it and gulped down but that is definately not the case here and my small sibblings were all no-no types to the drink offered and on being asked they demanded for the aerated drink or in easy terms pepsi.....They were so bright and confident.... answered each and every question with an aura...felt good :) but one thing is for sure these days kids have actually become smart, bold and assertiveand mature they know what they want and what is good for them which helps them select and deselect the options coming their way...not to forget that they can also question ur abilities and give u a tough competetion at times!!! Maturing at an early age is definately good but on the same side if we give a second thought we may think how mechanised lives have become??? the tenderness of the young age has vapourised...kids r no more kids their play-hood time has shrinked to a very seizable time ....
nd not to forget when my cousins left the entire floor had become the feasting place for ants and such creatureswith the tits bits of almost everything they have had... !!!!

POST INTERVIEW BLUES
In my high school I had studied a lesson in English text which talked about the perks and cons of an interview and how even the biggest of celebrities dreaded it and that it was a very convinient and efficient method to know ones lifestyle , obviously it sounded like a very old monotonous christmas caroll to my whole class including me.
But my recent interview session which i had to give ,made me realise the icy horror of an interview....Its not only that you have to prepare yourself up before it but it is the the impact it leaves on you even after it is done.
My experience was a nice one wherein i was empathetically questioned and got great support!!
Certain interviews are IMPORTANT in ones life and this was the mOst mEmOraBle of all
i enjoyed it....wink :)
