Besides street play which is filled with compassion n a jazba to spread awareness this year I participated in Mr n Miss anugoonj which is d university paegent competition nd with d support of my loving frnz I managd to bag d runner up position.

make hay while d sun shines

Well fellas life is sooo short ! I remember making a zillion plans as my vacations would approach .... updating my blog ... beggining a new novel ... travelling to all my shortlisted places ... learn to cook ... caring a bit about my hair ... treating myself to a spa/mani/padi ... going on a shopping spree ... spending lots of time with both frnz nd family ... investing in a noble cause ... managing my time better ... focusing nd figuring out d future ... meditating .... setting life straight ... unwinding the intricacies nd hassles of life ... channelizing some positivity ... But Alas!
Vacations are here and swear to god ! Accomplishing 10% of d list is like an achievment 
leisurely we forget our hard etched list nd vacations pass away ...AND then strikes d hard core reality like a gong !


Whenever we are deprived of something in life all of a sudden its sweet importance rings a doorbell in our grey cells.It is human.We are humans.
So make hay while d sun shines else it ll be too late.

20 waala buday

My 20 th was one of my favourite bdays :)

In the morning while I was getting ready Monica surprised me by coming to delhi sooo unexpectedly !! It was a BANG AWWN !!

My party proceeded and I had all my frnz gathered together and we had a dress theme 'back to school'

Everyone was in their attire with shorts and school ties :P

The cake cutting was followed by the newspaper dance game ... It was fun and awweesome !!

And then came my street play team which was sooo unexpected !!

The best part of my Bday was that all my close frnz were present on my bday ... :D (we missed some ppl though :( ) It was really nice to have all the important ppl that mattered to me present on my bday :))

ps-10 yrs down the lane when evrybody will be busy in their own lives with no time to attend birthdays anymore surely these will be memorable times  !!! Cheers !!!

Xpression - Art of living

Speech is a very powerful tool. It is an art and a person with an extensive command
over this art undoubtedly possesses the potential to rule the world.
The art lies in deluding the listener to believe what you say is true , to what extent you say the truth is immaterialistic. People do not give a second thought before judging a person and publicly scandalizing ones image. Not just this a petty incidence can be metamorphosed into 'a magical thundersome happening experience'
by the right pick of words and some add ons.
Such people yearn for public recognition and constant attention.

Few people possess the gift of being able to distinguish between the facts and fiction that might appear to be deceptively similar from outside. It is amusing but the number of such people have considerably fallen.
Recently two of my best friends had a huge tiff and they wouldnt talk let alone see
each others face and I got the opportunity to hear the story of both sides personally.
In general cases one party wins over the other in the percentage of fault earned ,
this case was certainly unusual. Both of them had their parts absolutely toned up
(which seemed rerehersd to me ) so perfectly flawless that when I heard the first part I was pretty sure I knew who was at fault but as soon as I heard the second version it seemed unbelievably relevant and true too! putting me in dilemma which one to believe and who was at fault. I wondered had I been a third party listening to just one version of the story I would have been strongly prejudiced for my entire life and I would have done great unjustice to myself and my friends.

Language is a powerful tool that can certainly convert the magnitude and intensity
of a subject. It can make a serious thing sound casual or a false alarm sound true.
Expression is a good way of communicating your inner voice with the world but
blatancy can be fatal.

Fewer people are blessed with the art of speech and the will to use it right and those few souls are certainly BLESSED !

mars vs venus

Recently I was talking to my sister and she told me about her new post about advantages of being a man over women and we had a pretty long argument discussing who were happier - men or women ?
without much ado I begin:
Advantage of being a girl is you always have someone to buy you your drink when you feel like having one even when you are bankrupt!
You do not always have to wear the very same and monotonous shirt pants .. we have a variety ranging from skirts, capris ganjis off shoulders, hot pants,skinny leggings, halters, cuts,  lehngas sarees and of course the regulars !
We have a variety of birthday gifts available for us unlike men where we need to scratch our heads and take so much trouble to think what to gift on any occassion.
We get all the attention and turn heads ... :O
Men will always be deprived of the feeling of being admired and complimented :P
Women give birth to a new life .. men can never parallel the ultimate cycle of existence.
Men can never enjoy a free meal ... at the end of a sumptuous feast it is the male counterpart who has to pay the voluptuous cheque.
Men never get to be treated like princess.
All the technical trouble is saved for men pre hand.
Women chitter chatter and blabber their entire days events while men are supposed to be silent listeners.
They can never experience the heavenly feeling of confidinginto one another.
Men get to hear the harsh scolding while women can surpass harshnes.
Even if men grow their hair long ... wear studs they can never compete with the charm of women !!!!!
Bleed with the hard core reality;
Women get to select from a variety of slippers be it stilletoes peeptoes wedges flats ballies shoes gladiators boots floaters crocs .....
Girls are always good at convincing people by throwing their charm around .... You should not deny a girl if you want to save yourself !
Being a girl you can always treat yourself by getting your nails done or by getting a good hair spa/massage...



Who is the talker ? Who gives birth ? Who cooks the meal ? Who upbrings the family and kids ? Who cleans the messy shelves of your super messed study ? Who supports you in the direst situations? Who has a neater handwriting ? Who believes in cleanliness and hygiene ?

You have been struck by the information technology virus.This IT virus has entirely taken hold of our lives luring us with fancy gizmos and gadgets, It would be surprising to know that this virus feeds on our happiness, physical fitness and peace of mind. According to a recent survey done it has found that children know how to handle computers before they know how to tie their laces.

What is the yardstick of measuring development ??

Development is not just confined to computers and increase in technology.. It is not just about efficient and advanced operating systems, softwares and databases.
Development at microscopic level aims at a holistic development that can deliver physical, mental and social stability and peace which IT development miserably fails to deliver.

Gone are the days when children loved collecting stamps and coins.Gone are the days when children loved playing outdoor games instead today these activities have been replaced by counter strike and NFS making kids couch potatoes with a gift of thick spectacles.

IT has encouraged cyberspace crime, hacking, porn blah blah ... the list is endless
Our parents live with a fear in their hearts that their kids might be exposed to such vulgar things.
What is the use of such a development that fails to give our parents a peaceful sleep?

IT has indeed shrunken the world by reducing distances but what is the use of this development that has shrunken the world yet increased the distances amongst hearts ?

If our forefathers were to look down from heaven to earth they would be surprised to see how much we have progressed yet they would pity on us how shallow, crippled and dependant we have become on this technology.They would surely mock at us on running after pseudo happiness leaving behind the real essence of quality happiness in life.

healthy competition

Competition is a contest between 2 or more individuals,groups society's or nations to test the capabilities or when multiple people strive to achieve the same goal which cannot be shared and is unique.
Competition is a measure of your talent. Competition in education can be both encouraging as well as discouraging. It can take the focus off learning and instead put it to winning instead. It also affects the ability of a student to find the sweet joy of learning.
We are all aware of the famous Darwins theory : survival of the fittest
We all compete for survival today , competition in education on the contrary can increase the diffidence levels of an individual .Healthy competition MUST be encouraged but comments like " Haha! I got an A and you just got a D" are surely unwelcome and must be punished.
So we should promote cooperation and healthy competition only.
